Jewelry that can withstand water?

Jewelry that can withstand water? Many of us are looking for jewelry that can withstand water and that does not discolor the neck or fingers. In order for your jewelery to be able to withstand water, e.g. shower and bath, it needs to be made of a material that does not irritate . An example of such a material is gold and silver, but there are also other options to choose from.

What jewelry can you swim with?

What determines whether you can only wear one piece of jewelry or not is the material the jewelry is made of. If you want to be 100% sure that the jewelry will not lose color or start to discolor your skin, you should invest in the precious metals gold and silver on. Other materials that are also suitable and can withstand water are surgical steel. Surgical steel and titanium are perhaps most common on piercings of various kinds, but are also available in the form of earrings and rings .

Whether you bathe with earrings, rings, bracelets or necklaces is therefore irrelevant. However, if you are very afraid of your jewelry, it is always best to take it off before jumping into the water. Both earrings and rings can slip off more easily when the skin is wet.

What jewelery does not discolour?

Jewelry that is made of metals that do not oxidize is the obvious choice if you want to prevent the jewelry from discoloring on your skin. Stainless steel, surgical steel, titanium and gold-plated silver are good options. As previously mentioned, however, it is always best to choose pure gold or silver if you want to be absolutely sure that the jewelry will last and not leave behind any discoloration.

Note that not all jewelry discolors the second it comes into contact with water. In many cases, rings, necklaces and earrings can take one or two showers before discolouration occurs.
